HTML Headers & Footers

If you do a lot of HTML editing you've probably wondered how to add standard headers and footers to your documents. If you've got your own web server, you can use something like ASP and add them on the fly. Note that this slows things down. For the rest of us, you need a utility which will edit your files before they're uploaded. I couldn't find one so I made my own using VBS. You can download it if you like.

HFutil works with Windows 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, XP and 2003.
If it doesn't work for you, try installing Windows Script Host 5.6 from Microsoft. 98, ME & NT 4.0 or 2000 & XP

HFutil supports up to 20 header files, 20 footer files and 200 body files in any combination, including random selection. All operations are logged so you can see what it did, what it didn't, and more importantly, why it didn't do it. Usage instructions are included - see Read me.txt.

Feel free to edit it for your own use or just copy parts of the code.

It you use it for any purpose or spot a bug, let me know and I'll update it.
